H.I.I.T. Sculpt & Stretch

High intensity interval training, core strength,and deep stretching, all in one hour. IMG_8183H.I.I.T. burns more fat in less time while preserving your lean muscle, and it’s not just for elite athletes. Anyone can add intervals that are intense (for them) to a workout and the benefits are tremendous!* We’ll spend about 20 minutes, after warming up, doing intense intervals of cardio and strength exercises (10-90 seconds) interspersed with light movement or rest, allowing you to tap into a higher intensity than you’d normally be able to reach. The high demand, even for short bursts, creates positive metabolic changes far beyond a steady state work. This equates to more fat being used for energy, more muscle tissue preservation, a longer after-burn, and you getting in better shape. H.I.I.T. has even been shown to improve symptoms of Diabetes, Parkinson’s, and COPD!

*If you haven’t exercised at all in a long time, having a base level of fitness such as some consistent walks a few times a week for a few weeks is recommended first.

Athletic, hip-hop style dance fitness set to heart-pumping world beats! You don’t need to know how to dance; I cue everything, you just follow! Sweat as much as going for a run but have way more fun! You’ll be craving more! There are always modifications including level 1 and 2 options, so you make it work for you. Within 3-5 classes, your muscle memory allows you to really get your groove on, adding to the sweat, smiles and calorie burn. There’s Bollywood, Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, Afro Beats, K-Pop and more. And I promise, no one is watching you since they’re too busy workin’ out their own groove, so go ahead… dance like nobody’s watching!

Fit & Flexible

Open to advanced beginners through intermediate fitness levels or any non-senior adult beginners, this class combines strength training, low-impact cardio intervals, and deep gentle stretching while focusing on correct form and breathing to help reduce aches and increase energy. Some fun partner work and brain-empowering games included. Chairs, dumbbells and resistance bands are provided though if you have your own, please bring along! Please also bring a towel, yoga mat, and water.

Kids U-Jam Fitness

Fun, athletic, easy-to-follow hip hop dance fitness from around the world. Bollywood, Reggaeton, Afro Beats, K-pop, and more! While improving fitness, balance, confidence, camaraderie and fly dance moves, kids will also prepare a small performance for families on the last day!
